INTRODUCTION


IMCS, Independent Marine Consultants & Surveyors, is a network of selected independent survey bureaux, working closely together to provide the market with outstanding quality services in the field of general nautical and marine surveys and transport consultancy.

The group has been formed and extended by a joint initiative of the Antwerp- and Rotterdam-based IMCS bureaux. The idea is to provide the Shipping and Insurance markets with the services of highly qualified and experienced surveyors and consultants, who are able to give their personal care at the highest professional level. Individual job-approach of the experts is uniformly house-styled, streamlined and backed up by continuous interaction of the members of the organization.

Each member company operates as an independent entity and comprises a small group of surveyors and consultants, all well-trained and equipped to meet the requirements of the market. Each member has a wide variety of instruments for survey, investigation and sampling of almost all types of cargo at his disposal.

Each of the bureaux makes use of up-to-date software for administration, reporting and data communication and is able to issue data electronically and/or conventionally as per instructions of the principals.

The IMCS members provide their services 'around the clock' , at very competitive rates, including instant reporting and any follow-up action that may be required.
